Calciner Scale and Refractory Removal

Worker safety is significantly improved by utilizing specialty-engineered equipment, eliminating practices using shot guns and Cardox.

Calciner is descaled using remote-controlled equipment operated safely from outside the calciner. Workers are no longer exposed to risk of being crushed by falling debris and all bulkheads are eliminated. All vertical build-up is mechanically removed and maintenance shutdown is reduced allowing the plant to be operational 2-4 shifts sooner.

Precision cleaning and refractory removal is completed with no build-up, saving shifts or even days of downtime. Extended refractory life results in fewer repairs and reduced downtime.
